Day 1: Arrival in Jaipur

Birla Mandir

Birla Mandir, also known as the Lakshmi Narayan Temple, is one of Jaipur’s most famous modern Hindu temples. Located at the base of Moti Dungri Hill, the temple was built by the B. M. Birla Foundation and is dedicated to Lord Vishnu (Narayan) and Goddess Lakshmi. Construction of the temple began in 1977 and was completed in 1988. According to local tradition, the land for the temple was acquired from the Maharaja of Jaipur for a symbolic price of one rupee.

Hawa Mahal
